This non accredited course is aimed to provide Managers and Supervisors with the knowledge and the skills needed to fulfil their duties and responsibilities under the WHS legislation. It will also assist supervisors and managers to effectively manage health and safety in their area of responsibility.
Managers are normally required to have a better understanding on their legal role and responsibilities under the WHS Act. They are the driving force of the Workplace Health and Safety, well-being and the commitment required to implement an effective Health and Safety Management program.
On completion of this program, participants will receive a Statement of Completion/Attendance.

- Interpret, understand, apply WHS legislation within the workplace
- Learn roles and responsibilities and importance of workplace health and safety
- Apply risk management practice
- Be proactive and engage in workplace consultation and communication with all staff
- Promote safety leadership
- Learn responsibilities in incidents, injury and illness prevention
- Understand significant importance of providing WHS information, instruction, training, support and supervision
